Proudly being delivered by local Sydney developer Stargate Property is the soon-to-be-launched The Centennial Collection.
Situated in an iconic gateway location overlooking Centennial Park and moments’ walk to Woollahra’s famous Queen Street, The Centennial Collection sets a new benchmark for luxury apartment living in Sydney’s eastern suburbs.
“There is nothing like this level of luxury in this enclave of the Eastern Suburbs,” said Marcello Bo, Partner at Ray White Projects. “Stargate is unequivocally raising the bar on luxury apartment living with this exquisite collection of extraordinary, house-sized residences. Not a stone has been left unturned in the range of elevated finishes and inclusions being offered.”
The Centennial Collection is a boutique development comprising two ten-storey residential towers. Boasting 270-degree panoramic views, the residences feature harbour, city skyline, and parkside vistas.
Having undertaken a design competition between multiple top-tier firms, award-winning architects SJB successfully won Waverley Council’s first design excellence competition. The developer received development approval in August 2022.
Adam Haddow, Design Director of SJB, conceived the development’s artisan architecture. Victoria Judge, renowned Senior Associate at SJB, designed the exquisite, European-inspired interiors.
Regarding his design vision for the project, Adam Haddow explained, “On one of Sydney’s highest points, the buildings have this beautiful sense of elevation right at the edge of the city. Their sculptural organic form feels timeless, reminiscent of rocks worn down over millennia.
“In the residences themselves, the architecture and interiors are seamless,” he continued. “We have these amazing, highly-tailored, house-like environments; each residence with two or three edges to enhance the outdoor relationship.”
Victoria Judge adds to this, detailing her design intent for the refined luxury interiors of the development.
“Sited as castles high on a hill, the residences are luxurious with a high level of amenity,” she remarked. “Envisioned as comfortable, liveable, house-like apartments featuring separate entry vestibules, wide, generous living areas with fireplaces, bedrooms with ample wardrobes and luxurious marble bathrooms, full room-sized laundries, and lots of natural light and airflow, they provide an elevated apartment living experience.
“Finishes are opulent and refined; generously detailed stonemasonry features softened edges and double bullnose trims, timber veneer joinery features curved corners and bold pediments that together bring an air of traditional monumentality,” she continued.
“Large format stone flooring in elegant creamy white is complimented by custom chequerboard timber parquetry and silky carpets.
“We wanted to give the spaces enduring qualities so people can still enjoy them in 10, 15, 20 years.”
The project’s opulent penthouses deliver the wow factor, complete with private rooftop swimming pools and terraces that capture spectacular harbour and parkside views over Centennial Park.
Furthering this abundant way of living are the building’s communal amenities. A rooftop pool, indoor winter pool, and al fresco dining and entertainment spaces are perfect places to gather with loved ones. While the wellness hub, with a cardio and personal training area, fosters an active-led lifestyle.
For residents’ utmost convenience are the concierge and cold and dry goods delivery rooms. Dedicated secure parking ensures hassle-free commuting, while EV charging stations and storage are available to all residences.
Construction for The Centennial Collection is set to get underway in mid-2023, with completion earmarked for end of 2025.
