With apartments featuring wrap-around balconies capturing 270-degree panoramic harbour, city skyline and parkside views, The Centennial Collection by local eastern suburbs developer, Stargate Property Group experienced FOMO at its launch last weekend selling out its first release to eager downsizers seeking to buy off the plan.

Described by SJB Architect, Adam Haddow as “a castle high on the hill”, positioned on one of the highest points of eastern suburbs, The Centennial Collection designed by SJB sets a new benchmark for luxurious interiors and amenities – reminiscent of a luxurious European five-star resort, idyllically located opposite Sydney’s iconic Centennial Park.

Comprising 70 apartments set within a landmark dual-tower development, the project offers a mix of two, three and four bedroom residences, with exquisitely designed European-inspired interiors complete with no less than three high-end finishes schemes. Pricing at launch started from $2.4m for a two bedroom apartment, with three bedroom apartments starting from $3,650,000.

Sales included a $12 million three bedroom and two bathroom apartment as well as several ‘whole of floor’ apartments taking in spectacular 360-degree vistas, offering what is arguably the best views of any apartment building in Sydney.

At the pinnacle of the Collection is two house-sized opulent penthouses, featuring rooftop swimming pools with terraces which capture breath-taking harbour as well as parkland views over Centennial Park stretching from North Head to Botany Bay. These will be separately launched in the coming months.

The Centennial Collection will offer some of the most exquisitely appointed apartments in Sydney’s east, featuring elevated interiors and an extensive range of optional upgrades giving purchasers the flexibility to customise their residence to truly make it their own.

Ray White Projects Partner, Marcello Bo said: “Featuring European-inspired interiors with a choice of three finishes schemes, The Centennial Collection is an exceptional offering in terms of apartment living in Sydney’s prized eastern suburbs.

“There is nothing like this level of luxury in this enclave of the eastern suburbs. Stargate is unequivocally raising the bar on apartment living with this exquisite collection of extraordinary, house-sized residences.

“The array of optional upgrades has intentionally been included to appeal to purchasers looking to customise their home with features such as marble fireplaces, His & Her robes, or even a generous butler’s pantry for additional concealed kitchen space. Not a stone has been left unturned in the range of finishes and inclusions being offered.”

Communal facilities in the building will include a rooftop pool with outdoor dining and entertaining spaces as well as an indoor ‘winter’ pool. Other luxe facilities include a concierge, cold and dry goods delivery rooms and a wellness hub including a cardio and personal training area. Dedicated secure parking ensures hassle-free commutes. The building will also have EV charging stations and storage for all residences.

Situated in an iconic gateway location overlooking Centennial Park and moments’ walk to Woollahra’s famous Queen Street, The Centennial Collection boasts an enviable lifestyle with the best of the east’s hatted restaurants, wine bars, shopping and schools all on its doorstep.

The project will also offer curated ground level retail with a vibrant, atmospheric village setting where residents can enjoy a hearty breakfast after a morning jog or cycle around Centennial Park. Ideal for pet-owners living opposite Sydney’s largest park spanning more than 189 hectares, the development will also be pet-friendly.

Having undertaken a design competition between multiple top tier firms, SJB, were successful in winning Waverley Councils’ first design excellence competition. The developer received development approval in August 2022.

Stargate Property’s Co-founding Director, Elia Leis said: “We have been instrumental in delivering quality residences in the east for the past two decades. The Centennial Collection is our signature legacy project. It showcases SJB’s magnificent architecture and interior designs delivering a timeless collection of superior homes, maximising views from its elevated parkside position, complemented by premium amenity.”

Construction for the project is set to get underway in mid-2023 and is earmarked for completion by the end of 2025.
