Place Designs – Creating wonderful landscapes
Place Designs, a internationally renown firm of landscape architects, have been engaged by LBD to design the landscaping for ADVANXeast, our aim is to create a sense of human scale to enhance the site experience for residents and visitors alike. The landscaping will reflect local climatic conditions, solar access and the visual importance of views.
A particular focus will be the large open courtyard on level 2 and roof gardens on level 4 where residents will have access to private spaces featuring raised lawns, pergolas, extensive garden beds and pocket seating areas.
A key aim is to maintain a connection with the existing Advanx site with plans for a new urban plaza on the north-west corner adjoining ADVANXeast. Facing McLachlan Ave it will be a significant focal point and a gateway for the project. The plaza space will create a relaxed feel for proposed cafés, while a mix of deciduous and evergreen trees will add seasional colour.
