Ray White Projects growth continues with key staff appointments
Ray White Projects has announced the appointments of eight new team members — including two directors — who have joined the business from McGrath Projects.
Ray White Projects Managing Director & Partner Eddie Mansour says former McGrath associate directors Paul Tutt and Craig Moore will bring decades of experience to the team of residential sales and marketing specialists.
Mr Mansour says the new appointments align with Ray White Projects’ vision for long-term growth, with the business expected to announce several new residential projects in the coming weeks.
“We continue to strengthen with a growing team, a greater number of projects and increasing project sizes,” Mr Mansour says.
“In a market that does have its challenges, project marketing remains a long-term growth opportunity for the Ray White Group.”
Ray White Projects Director Paul Tutt’s career spans more than 20 years of representing major residential projects across the Sydney metropolitan region and executing more than 5000 apartment sales in more than 120 project launches.
Ray White Projects Director Craig Moore has more than 24 years’ experience in the property industry, working extensively in local and national markets. For the past 15 years he has specialised in project marketing for high-end boutique developments along with medium and high-rise apartments throughout Sydney.
Mr Tutt, Mr Moore and the remainder of the new team will take up their new roles at Ray White Projects’ head office in Sydney on November 10.
Mr Mansour says the new team will bring incomparable expertise to the Ray White Projects business.
“Paul and Craig have extensive experience in the market and they’re very hands-on to ensure the customer gets the best result,” he says.
“Having experienced key team members on board ensures our business continues to perform through all phases of the property market cycle.
“Our aim is to ensure the ups and downs of the market don’t affect our business, with an emphasis on focusing on local buyers, who make up about 90 per cent of our buyers. Of this number, 65 per cent are owner-occupiers.”
Ray White Projects is currently marketing more than 35 projects in Sydney and more than 60 Australia-wide.
Mr Tutt says: “I’m extremely excited for the future of Ray White Projects. Craig and I had a good feeling about the company the day we walked in the door.
“An established business that has been passed down through generations over more than 100 years is a very attractive proposition.”
Mr Moore says: “A key driver was seeing how Ray White’s expansion into the project marketing field is second to none.
“Both Paul and I have experience in addition to project marketing and we expect to assist in the operation of the strong Ray White NSW sales division.
“The Ray White brand is going places and it’s an incredible opportunity to jump across.”
Ray White Group Director Dan White says the new appointments to the Ray White Projects team will bring to the business immeasurable expertise that can be difficult to find.
“It takes a unique skillset to market residential projects,” Mr White says.
“The apartment market can change significantly and quickly, so the long lead times and big upfront investment required can make it a tough business within which to operate.
“The appointments of Paul and Craig, as well as the rest of the new team, will help drive Ray White Projects to reach its full potential and add momentum to further challenge our corporate competitors.”
Ray White Projects, a partnership between the White family and Mr Mansour, was established four years ago. Mr Mansour has been with the Ray White network since 2007.
Ray White Projects also has offices in Hong Kong, Beijing and Guangzhou. The Hong Kong office has a dedicated sales centre with permanent display suites.
“The point of difference between Ray White Projects and its competitors is that residential is our core business,” Mr Mansour says.
“This has given us unrivalled access to market through more than Ray White 1000 offices across the globe.”
