An eastern suburbs logistics expert has forked out $22m to buy a single-level apartment called the AYA Penthouse through Ray White’s Eddie Mansour and Jeremy Wiesner of Wiesner Property.
“The price of $22m sets a new benchmark for non-beachfront-facing apartments in Bondi Beach,” Mr Mansour said.
The 353sq m penthouse was designed by Koichi Takada and includes four bedrooms and two car spaces.
Meanwhile, accountant Anthony Bell appears to have broken the Dover Heights record by off-loading his clifftop house for about $21m to Guanda Hu through McGrath agents Luke Hogan and Will Manning. The agents declined to comment on the sale of the five-bedroom property.
Bell bought the house in Hunter Street seven years ago from TV star Larry Emdur and his wife, Sylvie, paying $11.5m.
